Call Me Crazy, But...

... I thought ole Laffey Taffey pitched pretty well yesterday, in spite of the spotty defense and lack of run support.  And that's about it.  Zaunhead for Laffey, and let's move on to the next one, mostly because it's either him, or Adam Lind, and we don't like him.

Ricky Romero throws today, and I suppose we all know what that means at this stage (typically when I have this shitty attitude I end up really fucking wrong so let's go).  In return, the White Sox will throw former potential future Blue Jay Gavin Floyd.  Floyd has not been very good this year, with an ERA and FIP approaching 5.

Stuff
David Pauley has rejected his optional assignment after being DFA'ed, and is now a free agent.  Not a big deal.

The O's have contacted the Astros about Wandy Rodriguez, according to MLBTR.  The Jays have also been looking towards Wandy (and Matt Garza) since they have multiple years of control.

Apparently Chris Woodward is still playing in Las Vegas, and pitched a scoreless inning in the first game of yesterday's doubleheader.

I dunno, that's enough.  Today's game starts at a weird time.
