What Happened to Hendy?

So Alvarez is suddenly good, eh?  No complaints here.  Have a Zaunhead.

Other than that, I'm just too hung over for this.  Go for the sweep boys.

Stuff
Ken Rosenthal, via MLBTR, reports that Bud Norris could be available in a trade, and that the Blue Jays would be interested.  I would be interested in the Blue Jays being interested.

Jose Bautista is swinging a bat, and is getting closer to coming back.

Brandon Morrow's first rehab start is today.  He'll throw two innings in Single-A, and will throw one more before moving up to AA New Hampshire for two starts.  They want to stretch him out to about 85 pitches before having him up.  If he only does 4 rehab starts, August 18th-ish is where the schedule would have him returning.

And finally, the Orioles called up Lew Ford to play LF today.  Awesome.  Ford was a 4WAR player in his first full year, but was out of the league three years later, and hasn't played in the majors since 2007.
