CharlieV: Ace

Got through five innings! With a lead!  Consider my timbers shivered.

And Adam Lind.  He hit two homers, and Aaron Hill hit for the cycle again.  So it's 2009 again.  I'd bet on the Saints to win the Super Bowl.  But really, it's one game (and park factors, in the case of Aaron).  I'm giving Charlie the Zaunhead.  Because spite.

Henderson Alvarez goes today.  The Angels are actually kind of putting forward a bit of a B-lineup today, so Alvarez might even get through the 3rd inning for a change... Janssen, Coco and Oliver have all thrown in back-to-back nights, so, while it's not time for panic yet, this is one of those days where the bullpen could probably use a rest, or at least one of those games where we're not in to the bullpen after an hour.  The internet is telling me that Ricky Romero is pitching tomorrow too, and we all know how that's gone so far this year.

I don't even think there's any stuff today.  There were rumblings of the Dodgers trading Zach Lee for Carlos Lee yesterday, but that's been squashed.  If you aren't familiar with Zach Lee, let me just say that this trade would have been a really bad idea for the Dodgers.
